This route is designed for visitors that prefer does
prefer too much walking and to discover Malacca in a leisure way. The places
chosen for this route will be in the most comfortable ways to discover Malacca
as for tourists to unwind themselves in this historical city.
Scope:
Morning (At 10 to 12 p.m.)
Let’s start the tour by visiting the Malacca Heritage
Centre. The Malacca Heritage Centre is a museum which provide a comfortable environment
and atmosphere for visitors to find out about city. The Museum is located at Jonker
St, Melaka.
This museum is a real hundred plus year old family
home that has been faithfully maintained, and is now a unique and truly
authentic Peranakan experience, complete in every way. It represents beautiful
furniture, unique decor, and a truly magical ambience. Nice place with very
neatly maintained its old heritage. The house is simple but carefully restored
with many personal collectables.
Visiting the museum is fastest and easier way for the
tourists to get to know Malacca. Besides, there are still several Malacca that museum
are worth for visitors to visits. As a
reference others museum that can be visited includes: Flora de la Mar Maritime
Museum, Villa Sentosa (Malay Living Museum), Malacca Sultanate Palace Museum,
Baba-Nyonya Heritage Museum, Stadhuys, Malay and Islamic World Museum, Kite
Museum, Architecture Museum of Malaysia.
Noon (At 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.)
Next, heading to the Dataran Pahlawan Malacca
Megamall. From the museum to the Megamall is just a 5 to 10 minutes walking
distance.
Dataran Pahlawan Malacca Megamall is one of the
representative shopping mall in Malacca. It located right in the middle of the
bustling are. It is the largest shopping centre that divided into old and new
complex and are connected through a below ground floor which is also a selling
area.

Still not shopping enough? Let’s head to the Mahkota Parade
shopping Mall continue to shop! The Mahkota Parade Shopping is away about 5 to
10 minutes walking distance from Dataran Pahlawan Malacca Megamall
What we wanted to introduce is a famous Nadeje Patisserie
Café which is selling the Mille Crepe cake. This Café provides a variety of
more than 25 favours of Mille Crepe cake and it is situated in the Mahkota
Parade Shopping Mall. The Mille Crepe cake will be a good tea-time dessert.
(At 4p.m. to 6p.m.)
Next going for a Duck tour! The Duck tour Malacca is a tour
that bring tourist discover Malacca on the aspect of both on land and in sea.
The Duck Tour on-board spot is just beside the Taming Sari Tower and it is 5
minutes walking distance away from Pahlawan Megamall.
The duck tour uses an amphibious truck troops over land and
water. The tour is about an hour and you can see the city of Malacca along the
way. The operation time is from 9 a.m. to 6p.m. everyday. The Admission fee is
Adult RM38 and Children RM22. For foreign visitors Adult is RM45 and for
children RM 27.

Next is to visit the Taming Sari Tower. The tower is just
beside the Duck Tour registration place.
The structure design of the tower follows the shape of the
Keris. The tower is 110 meters in height revolves 360-degree that manages to
provide a panoramic and interesting view of Malacca state within 7 minutes. The
7 minutes ride will host a great sight of the town such as St. Paul's Hill,
Melaka River Cruise, St. John‘s Fort and Portuguese Square. The ticket for the
ride is adult RM 20, senior citizen RM 17 and children RM10.

Can have a walk in the night market of Jonker walk or Pahlawan
Walk. For Jonker Walk or Pahlawan walk the street is block for night market
only on Friday Saturday and Sunday therefore within this days the street will
be full of people selling all kind of things which include foods, Drinks,
Dress, Souvenir, Sketching, Snack and many others things that you might not
think of .
For the Muslim you can visit the Paklawan walk witch is
organized by mostly Malay seller that are selling Halal food, drinks and others
that waiting for your visit.
