This route is designed for visitors that have own transportation or having convenience in transportation. The places that designed for this route is suitable for family with kids or even with elderly. Let’s explore of the city of Malacca!


Scope


Visitors can choose either to go to which attractive leisure attraction of Malacca.
1.     Zoo Melacca
2.     Taman Rama-rama (The butterfly park)
3.     Taman Botanika (Botanical Park)
4.     Water Theme Park
5.     The Crocodile Farm


Morning (At 9 to 12 p.m.)
Morning let’s start the journey by popular of leisure attraction them park in Malacca. We bet children would look to visit as it is attraction, interesting and this create an opportunity for family to create memorable leisure moment while visiting.



First suggestion, visit the Malacca Zoo which is situated besides the Lebuh Ayer Keroh (Fderal Route) in the town of Ayer Keroh. Malacca Zoo is a zoological park which have more than 1200 animals of 215 species can be found in the 54 acre park. There will be specific time for tourist to have interaction with the animals and also animal’s performance. 

Afternoon (At 12p.m.to2p.m.)
After the visit of zoo, it’s lunch time and Café 1511 for lunch. Next destination is going to visit the BabaNyonya museum. Café 1511 is just nest door to the museum there delicious Nyonya dishes and other local food. After lunch you can walk in to the museum and the museum display everything about their culture and lifestyle of the Baba Nyonya. The museum is origin a typical Baba Nyonya style house and it has been used for firming purpose as a background of the drama setting.


(From 2p.m. to 4p.m.)
Next destination is going to the maritime museum. The maritime museum is located at the Quayside road near to the Malacca River. The museum is quite obvious to be seen as the museum is the ship which is in dark brown colour.



The Maritime museum is a replica of the Flora De La Mar which was a Portuguese ship that sank off in the coast of Malacca in the 16th century. The real ship during that time was 400 tons. The museum highlights Malacca’s importance as regional and international business centre from the period of the Malacca Sultanate, righ through the Portuguese, Dutch and British era.
The museum houses exhibits, artifacts and documents from the Melaka's golden era as the Emporium of the East and reveals how political control of Melaka was essential to the establishment of maritime dominance in the region.

The museum also traces Melaka's trading links from the earliest times through the colonial era, the Japanese conquest and brief period of Japanese rule, the return of Britain as the colonial master, the emergence of the independent nation of the Federation of Malaya and the formation of Malaysia.


(From 4p.m. to 6p.m.)
Next spot will be visiting the MalaccaSultanate Palace. The Malacca Sultanate Palace is situated at the foot of the famous St. Paul’s Hill which is at the centre town of Malacca.

The palace is the home of the Cultural Museum which celebrates the Malay side of the Malacca's history. The museum showcases more than 1300 items of Malacca's past. There items include photographs, weaponry, drawings, musical instruments and gifts from foreign emissaries. All these items are displayed in eight different chambers and in three galleries on the three floors of the palace. Admission into the palace is RM2 per adult and RM0.50 per child. It is closed on Mondays and opens on Tuesdays to Sundays from 9am to 6pm.

The last destination for the trip will be going to Malacca famous Jonker Street. Please take note that the Jonker street road is closed for night market only at Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For normal day night time there will be no night market in Jonker Street. There are various of Local delicious food selling at the night market. Besides that, there are also special and unique things such as handcraft or souvenir waiting to be discovered.
