This route is designed for tourist without own transportation and who would like to explore the historical side of the city of Malacca.
Malacca is a historical city and it had been inscribed as a world heritage city in 2008. The historical spots have existed since many decades ago and waiting for historical explorer to discover!
Scope:
This route of the one day tour is mainly discovering the historical spots or building situated nearby to the “Red House” area.

This route is designed for tourist or explorer that travel with car or having other form of transportation. Let’s explore the historical site of the city of Malacca~
 


Tips:
The taxi services in Malacca is charged based on trip and not based on mileage and minimum charges is RM20. Travelers have another option which is to take the bus services to travel in the town. But the waiting time for the bus services is not consistent and therefore travelers need to spare a little waiting time while planning for the travel arrangement.

This route is designed for visitors that have own transportation or having convenience in transportation. The places that designed for this route is suitable for family with kids or even with elderly. Let’s explore of the city of Malacca!


Scope


Visitors can choose either to go to which attractive leisure attraction of Malacca.
1.     Zoo Melacca
2.     Taman Rama-rama (The butterfly park)
3.     Taman Botanika (Botanical Park)
4.     Water Theme Park
5.     The Crocodile Farm


Morning (At 9 to 12 p.m.)
Morning let’s start the journey by popular of leisure attraction them park in Malacca. We bet children would look to visit as it is attraction, interesting and this create an opportunity for family to create memorable leisure moment while visiting.



First suggestion, visit the Malacca Zoo which is situated besides the Lebuh Ayer Keroh (Fderal Route) in the town of Ayer Keroh. Malacca Zoo is a zoological park which have more than 1200 animals of 215 species can be found in the 54 acre park. There will be specific time for tourist to have interaction with the animals and also animal’s performance. 

Afternoon (At 12p.m.to2p.m.)
After the visit of zoo, it’s lunch time and Café 1511 for lunch. Next destination is going to visit the BabaNyonya museum. Café 1511 is just nest door to the museum there delicious Nyonya dishes and other local food. After lunch you can walk in to the museum and the museum display everything about their culture and lifestyle of the Baba Nyonya. The museum is origin a typical Baba Nyonya style house and it has been used for firming purpose as a background of the drama setting.

Next destination is going to the maritime museum. The maritime museum is located at the Quayside road near to the Malacca River. The museum is quite obvious to be seen as the museum is the ship which is in dark brown colour.



The Maritime museum is a replica of the Flora De La Mar which was a Portuguese ship that sank off in the coast of Malacca in the 16th century. The real ship during that time was 400 tons. The museum highlights Malacca’s importance as regional and international business centre from the period of the Malacca Sultanate, righ through the Portuguese, Dutch and British era.
The museum houses exhibits, artifacts and documents from the Melaka's golden era as the Emporium of the East and reveals how political control of Melaka was essential to the establishment of maritime dominance in the region.

The museum also traces Melaka's trading links from the earliest times through the colonial era, the Japanese conquest and brief period of Japanese rule, the return of Britain as the colonial master, the emergence of the independent nation of the Federation of Malaya and the formation of Malaysia.


(From 4p.m. to 6p.m.)
Next spot will be visiting the MalaccaSultanate Palace. The Malacca Sultanate Palace is situated at the foot of the famous St. Paul’s Hill which is at the centre town of Malacca.

The palace is the home of the Cultural Museum which celebrates the Malay side of the Malacca's history. The museum showcases more than 1300 items of Malacca's past. There items include photographs, weaponry, drawings, musical instruments and gifts from foreign emissaries. All these items are displayed in eight different chambers and in three galleries on the three floors of the palace. Admission into the palace is RM2 per adult and RM0.50 per child. It is closed on Mondays and opens on Tuesdays to Sundays from 9am to 6pm.

The last destination for the trip will be going to Malacca famous Jonker Street. Please take note that the Jonker street road is closed for night market only at Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For normal day night time there will be no night market in Jonker Street. There are various of Local delicious food selling at the night market. Besides that, there are also special and unique things such as handcraft or souvenir waiting to be discovered.

This route is designed for visitors that prefer does prefer too much walking and to discover Malacca in a leisure way. The places chosen for this route will be in the most comfortable ways to discover Malacca as for tourists to unwind themselves in this historical city.

Scope:



Morning (At 10 to 12 p.m.)
Let’s start the tour by visiting the Malacca Heritage Centre. The Malacca Heritage Centre is a museum which provide a comfortable environment and atmosphere for visitors to find out about city. The Museum is located at Jonker St, Melaka.



This museum is a real hundred plus year old family home that has been faithfully maintained, and is now a unique and truly authentic Peranakan experience, complete in every way. It represents beautiful furniture, unique decor, and a truly magical ambience. Nice place with very neatly maintained its old heritage. The house is simple but carefully restored with many personal collectables.
Visiting the museum is fastest and easier way for the tourists to get to know Malacca. Besides, there are still several Malacca that museum are worth for visitors to visits.  As a reference others museum that can be visited includes: Flora de la Mar Maritime Museum, Villa Sentosa (Malay Living Museum), Malacca Sultanate Palace Museum, Baba-Nyonya Heritage Museum, Stadhuys, Malay and Islamic World Museum, Kite Museum, Architecture Museum of Malaysia.
Noon (At 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.)
Next, heading to the Dataran Pahlawan Malacca Megamall. From the museum to the Megamall is just a 5 to 10 minutes walking distance.




Dataran Pahlawan Malacca Megamall is one of the representative shopping mall in Malacca. It located right in the middle of the bustling are. It is the largest shopping centre that divided into old and new complex and are connected through a below ground floor which is also a selling area.

Still not shopping enough? Let’s head to the Mahkota Parade shopping Mall continue to shop! The Mahkota Parade Shopping is away about 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from Dataran Pahlawan Malacca Megamall




What we wanted to introduce is a famous Nadeje Patisserie Café which is selling the Mille Crepe cake. This Café provides a variety of more than 25 favours of Mille Crepe cake and it is situated in the Mahkota Parade Shopping Mall. The Mille Crepe cake will be a good tea-time dessert.



(At 4p.m. to 6p.m.)

Next going for a Duck tour! The Duck tour Malacca is a tour that bring tourist discover Malacca on the aspect of both on land and in sea. The Duck Tour on-board spot is just beside the Taming Sari Tower and it is 5 minutes walking distance away from Pahlawan Megamall.



The duck tour uses an amphibious truck troops over land and water. The tour is about an hour and you can see the city of Malacca along the way. The operation time is from 9 a.m. to 6p.m. everyday. The Admission fee is Adult RM38 and Children RM22. For foreign visitors Adult is RM45 and for children RM 27.



(At 6p.m. to 8p.m.)
Next is to visit the Taming Sari Tower. The tower is just beside the Duck Tour registration place.




The structure design of the tower follows the shape of the Keris. The tower is 110 meters in height revolves 360-degree that manages to provide a panoramic and interesting view of Malacca state within 7 minutes. The 7 minutes ride will host a great sight of the town such as St. Paul's Hill, Melaka River Cruise, St. John‘s Fort and Portuguese Square. The ticket for the ride is adult RM 20, senior citizen RM 17 and children RM10.

Can have a walk in the night market of Jonker walk or Pahlawan Walk. For Jonker Walk or Pahlawan walk the street is block for night market only on Friday Saturday and Sunday therefore within this days the street will be full of people selling all kind of things which include foods, Drinks, Dress, Souvenir, Sketching, Snack and many others things that you might not think of .

For the Muslim you can visit the Paklawan walk witch is organized by mostly Malay seller that are selling Halal food, drinks and others that waiting for your visit.
